The Holiday Season!

Just a little update...

This Christmas season has been so fun! Maggie LOVES everything about Christmas. She is so excited about helping me wrap presents and looking at Christmas lights.

Little Lucy is getting soooo big! She is now rolling over both ways, and has started babbling like crazy. She is so happy (most of the time), and really likes to play with Maggie.

Thanksgiving 2010

Well, I can't believe that the holidays are already upon us! This was a very wonderful Thanksgiving for us because Todd didn't have to work, so we were able to spend the day with his family and mine!

Lucy is now 4 months old, and has grown so much lately. She is drooling like crazy and has been a little fussy, so I'm expecting to see a tooth pop up any day now. She is constantly smiling and has begun making cute little baby noises when someone talks to her. She absolutely adores Maggie (I think the feeling is mutual) and is content to watch her and Chewy most of the time.

Maggie is her usual free spirited self. She is so happy most of the time (until she doesn't get what she wants), but loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Special Agent Oso, & Clifford. She loves to have us read her story, play with her blocks, and sing and dance.

Lucy is growing so fast!

I'm a little late on posting this, but Lucy has rolled over! She has only done it a couple of times, but I was lucky enough to catch it on video!

The Rock Ranch

My mom and I took the girls to the Rock Ranch for their Hot Air Balloon Day. I really wish Todd could have been there (he had to work). I love the rock ranch-its such a great place with so many things for kids. It got a little crowded after lunch, but we still had fun. Maggie loved the big bouncy houses, riding the mini tractors, and the little playground the best.

Craziness rules our lives!!

We are having so much fun with our two little girls! Maggie is so hilarious lately-everything she says just makes us laugh. She is still so wonderful with Lucy. I pretty sure that the feeling is mutual because Lucy smiles so big and getS so excited when Maggie talks to her. This is such a wonderful experience.

Lucy has really started to develop a little personality. She is so happy and has even started laughing out loud! It's such a wonderful sound.

Just an Update...

The past month and a half have been a blur...

September was great! Lucy has begun smiling and watching TV. Maggie has continued to be a wonderful big sister. Todd and I took a trip to Italy with some of his family and had a wonderful time. It was nice to get away for a little while, but I was so happy to see my girls! Here are a few pics of the trip...

Venice!

Then, we came back for a week, then we went to Disney World! My Mom & Dad, plus Amanda, Dale, & the boys went this time! We decided to leave Lucy at home this time since it was gonna be so hot. So, Ganny and Papa (Todd's Mom & Dad) got to spend a whole week with just Lucy! Here are a couple of pictures from that trip...

Lucy's Here!

It's been a while since I've posted anything, but our new little girl is here! Lucy Abigail Fields arrived July 25th at 2:55pm. She weighed 6lbs, 14oz, and 20inches long. She is so beautiful and we thinks she looks just like her big sister Maggie!

Lucy is 6 weeks old today and is now smiling at us! She is also getting better at sleeping. She eats every 3 hours, except at night and usually she will last 4-5hours, which is wonderful by my book! Here's a couple of pictures...

Of course Maggie wanted Lucy to sleep with her!

Andrew Haddon Davis

I'm soooo excited to announce that our new nephew, Andrew Haddon Davis is now here!! Amanda was admitted to the hospital last Friday, the 19th and he finally made an appearance on February 21st VERY early in the morning. After he was born, we all understood why he didn't want to come out-he weighed 8lbs, 15oz!! Both mom and baby are doing well and will hopefully be home today. I can't wait for Maggie to meet baby Andrew. She has been very excited about him living in Aunt Amanda's belly, so we'll see if she understands that he's the same baby. I'll post pictures soon! He is sooo beautiful and sweet!

Potty Training...

Well, we made it through another Christmas and New Years! We had a really good time this year with Maggie. Her expressions were completely priceless when she saw what Santa brought her! Well, now its already February and we have begun the potty training stage...all I can say is wow! It's harder than I thought! She has done really well so far and gets so excited when she actually goes in the potty. My goal is to have her potty trained, in a big-girl bed, and no pacifier by her 2nd birthday. We'll see how it goes!
